Your thoughts on this article:
Somebody wake me when there is a REAL pandemic! So far it is only the hype of the Swine Flu that has reached pandemic levels, not the death toll. Remember Bird Flu? They called that a pandemic for a month or so and what happened then? Did it ever kill more than a few hundred in SE Asia? Once again it's all media hype.So why hype the Swine Flu? It keeps the Sheep from realizing that there is stuff more serious going on - like the world economy. The powers that be are hoping that a little flu scare will get our eye off what they are doing in the stock markets - namely trying to bring back the Wild-West days of only about a year ago.If we are still talking about this in a month then maybe it's worth looking into. Right now I chalk it up to the other distractions they've thrown at us in the last few years: immigrants, Obama's dog, prayer in school/intelligent design, sexting, etc...The more the news outlets hype the flu, the less they have to talk about the shitty economy!
